This week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post was a work of art. In the challenge they suggested “Art” isn’t just paintings and sculptures, it can be anything in which we find beauty and meaning — even food. Show us a thing, place, or person that’s a work of art to you.
We recently camped in the Smoky mountains and took a walk along the Gatlinburg trail on a rainy morning. I was somewhat annoyed that the humidity in the air kept fogging up my camera lens but was pleased at the ethereal quality in this photo. It reminds me of some of the early renaissance paintings with a dash of Thomas Kincaid for good measure.
Agree with you there. Love the effect of the photo, makes the trail look a bit spooky and haunted. It looks like a slippery trail with the river there, hope you kept your balance and didn’t fall over 🙂
Thanks Mabel!
