Pros: Well blazed trails. Benches along the way. Part of the trail follows a creek. Fishing. Bird watching.
Cons: Short trail. No campground.
Dudley Woods is a 64 acre park and is part of Butler County Parks located in Southwest Ohio. There is no campground located at this park, however, the closest campground is only 22 minutes away (Cedarbrook Campground). We enjoyed taking our dogs to this park. For us, this trail is 10 minutes from our house. The trail is well blazed. There is some bit of elevation to this trail but for the most part, the trail is a beginner trail. The trail is adjacent to Gregory Creek where one can fish for bluegill, smallmouth bass, and catfish. A picnic shelter and restrooms (pit toilets) are available. In November of 2014, the park was closed temporarily as they are added new trails to the park.
It would be nice if they developed it more with play equipment and bike paths for the neighborhoods touting they have access since the Developer REFUSES to put in safe bike paths for the homeowners!!! It is DANGEROUS walking/jogging/bicycling along Hankins Rd to get to Dudley Woods Park!! The Developer of Windsor Estates is CHEAP! All other neighborhoods near have bike paths to keep their homeowners and children safe!!
