Pros: Trails through pine trees. Creekside trails. Great place for parents who to get their children into hiking.
Cons: Short trails. No campground.
Indian Creek Preserve is part of Butler County Parks located in Southwest Ohio. There is no campground located at this park, however, the closest campground is only 22 minutes away (Hueston Woods State Park). We enjoyed taking our dogs to this park. The trails were well blazed. Part of the trails included elevations, creek side hiking, and walks through pine trees. I really enjoy hiking through pine trees. It is great if you are looking for a peaceful 45 minute hike. However, if you are looking for an afternoon of hiking, this is not your place. For families with little kids, this is a good park to get the kids’ “feet wet” with hiking. Additionally, the park has picnic areas including BBQ grills. There is also a playground. At the Oxford-Reily Road entrance, there is a new restroom that was recently added.
