Weekly Photo Challenge: Reflections

This week’s photo challenge from The Daily Post is reflections.  It could be a nice photo of a landscape reflected over water, or a photo that captures a reflection about yourself or things you love.  I was reminded of a photo I took while camping of interesting patterns that were reflecting off the rippling water at Miami Whitewater Park in Harrison, OH.  As an artist, I enjoy looking for unique patterns and designs in nature.  For this challenge, I also chose to add some artistic twists to the photo.  Hope you enjoy!

I look at these photos and for some reason the Grateful Dead lyric “…what a long strange trip it’s been…” comes to mind.  Go figure!

  1. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was wondering
what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would
cost a pretty penny? I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% certain.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Appreciate it

    • We set this blog up for free using wordpress.com. I chose a free page layout that I liked. The setup process is very user friendly so you shouldnt have any trouble at all. We did eventually pay a fee to have wordpress removed from our address. So it is just crazy4camping.com notcrazy4camping.wordpress.com. We also gained additional space to upload pictures. Hope that helps. Best of luck to you!

  3. OK – so it’s not a “camping” pic — but it does have a lot to do with reflections — and also a great memory of a fun time we spent in Chicago with Spence…. you can crop it however you would like… actually I think I am sending more than one. Michigan one is a great shot of the kids/grandkids overlooking Lake Michigan at Dunes. You don’t have to use any of them….but I might find some more that are interesting….don’t have much time today. Leaving for MS early tomorrow
